New Missions Blog

Welcome to our new blog! We are going to use this as a tool to communicate with you about missions at FBCP. We will start this blog off with our trip to Ecuador September 27th through October 4th. The team will attempt to update this with prayer needs, praises and other information while they are in Ecuador so we can be actively involved with the team as they serve. This team is going to Ecuador with Happy Feet Ministries (see link on sidebar) to deliver shoes to village children and share the gospel with the people there. Please pray now for the team as they prepare physically and spiritually to leave on Saturday morning.

Check back to read updates and leave your comments for the team to read.

I am praying that God is over all aspects of this trip. Today I pray that the Lord gives you travel mercies, that any anxiety about the trip be calmed by the Holy Spirit and that everyone arrives safely with their luggage. I praise God that he is preparing the hearts of the people you will minister to this week and that all that is done will bring glory to his name.

I believe when you welcome a child in the name of Jesus you welcome Jesus himself.

Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

I continue to pray for the team to have boldness and a safe journey. I know by now fatigue is setting in but continue to focus on the blessing. Thank you for your willingness to serve and take hope to so many children.
GLORY BE TO GOD IN ALL YOU DO!
Love you all,
Ms. Janet
